Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Venture for T.H.E.M., LLC, which operates Fund Forward ("Fund.Fwd," "we," "our," or "us"). They apply to our website and mobile applications (together, the "Service").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Fund Forward, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fund.Fwd provides information about funding opportunities, grants, accelerators, and educational content for entrepreneurs. The Service includes both free features and a paid Premium subscription.

3. Use License

Permission is granted to use Fund Forward for your own use, including finding funding and learning for your own venture. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify, copy, or resell the materials
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any software
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notations

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us of any unauthorized use

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions bought on our website

  • Premium costs $9.99/month in US dollars, plus any applicable taxes
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, and subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Premium until then
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • If the price changes, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal

Subscriptions bought in our apps

  • Purchases in the iOS app are made through the Apple App Store and follow Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Purchases in the Android app are made through Google Play and follow Google Play's terms
  • Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription from your App Store or Google Play account settings
  • Refund requests for these purchases are handled by Apple or Google

6. Content Guidelines

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, or offensive
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware or harmful code
  • Is spam or misleading information

By submitting content to Fund.Fwd, such as a funding proposal or a Business Board listing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. We may review, decline, or remove submissions.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Scrape or copy content for commercial purposes without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity

8. Intellectual Property

The materials on Fund Forward are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The information, content, and services provided through the Service (including any content generated by artificial intelligence) are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind (including but not limited to legal, medical, financial, or technical advice).

Fund.Fwd does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, opportunity, or recommendations made available through the Service. Users are solely responsible for how they choose to interpret and apply such information.

10. No Guarantee of Funding

Fund.Fwd does not guarantee that users will receive funding from any opportunities listed or recommended in the Service. All funding opportunities are subject to the specific requirements, criteria, and decisions of the respective funding organizations. Fund.Fwd is not responsible for:

  • The outcome of any funding applications
  • The accuracy or availability of listed opportunities
  • Changes to funding criteria or deadlines
  • Any decisions made by funding organizations

11. Disclaimer

Fund Forward is provided "as is". We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties including:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or completeness of information
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Fund Forward, its affiliates, or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fund.Fwd and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Apple-Specific Terms

If you use our iOS app, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies to that app: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

These Terms are between you and Fund.Fwd only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for it.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service or by email. By continuing to use Fund Forward, you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms of Service.
